UTCDC celebrates diversity with multicultural drive-through festival and bookfair

On April 24, the UT Child Development Center (UTCDC) partnered with families and a local Black-owned bookstore to host a multicultural drive-through festival and bookfair for children and their families. The multicultural festival is an annual celebration of diversity that provides children an opportunity to learn and explore different cultures from around the world.

While the Landscape Services Installation team often participates in landscape rehabilitation or other special projects, they shine when afforded the opportunity to use historical and horticultural knowledge to find landscape solutions. Such an opportunity arrived when University Housing and Dining (UHD) Sustainability Coordinator Neil Kaufman asked for a unique planter for the South Asia Garden.

2021 FAS Staff Service Award Recipients

FAS celebrates service with the President’s 2021 Staff Service Awards

As part of the annual President’s Staff Awards, the university recognizes and honors the dedication of employees who have served the university for 10 or more years with its Service Awards. This year the list consists of more than 800 staff across the university, with 185 of those being FAS staff. Within the FAS portfolio, years of service range from 10 to 45. New tuition billing process for UT

Collaboration among FAS units and campus partners improves tuition billing and payment processes for students

Starting with the fall 2021 semester, the university will implement improvements to tuition billing and payments that will make it easier for students to pay their tuition and to receive financial aid and scholarships. These process improvements are the result of collaboration that began in November 2019 with the support of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Darrell Bazzell and then-provost Maurie McInnis.
