Sheilagh O’Hare, Records and Information Management Services (RIMS) senior business analyst, has seen use cases for DocuSign increase steadily since the document management service was launched at the university in 2017. DocuSign enables a workflow that is entirely digital, including signatures. RIMS and ITS Applications support the service.

FAS units team up to make HRSS requests easier

It is now easier than ever before to request services from FAS Human Resources Support Services (HRSS) thanks to the service portal developed in collaboration with Technology Resources (TRecs) and Information Technology Services (ITS) Campus Solutions. Development began in fall 2020, and the portal was launched on May 26, 2021, according to HRSS Director Angie Schoolar.

High-speed network project modernizes 30-year-old infrastructure to support PRC research mission

Over a two-year period, a team from multiple Financial and Administrative Services (FAS) departments collaborated to ensure the J. J. Pickle Research Campus (PRC) would have a reliable high-speed network, which is vital to the university’s research mission. Much of the work involved rebuilding the primary Network Access Point (NAP) for the campus. The NAP consists of the network equipment and fiber connecting buildings at PRC and connecting PRC with the main campus. It also connects PRC to the Internet.
