Resources to help with living day-to-day under COVID-19

Dear Campus Colleagues,

Whether you are teleworking or reporting to campus to provide invaluable support to our university’s core mission, this continues to be an incredibly complex and stressful time for all of us. Your well-being is the university’s top priority as we navigate the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic as a community.

We recognize that the worry and challenges posed by the pandemic do not go away at the end of the workday. In an effort to promote self-care and help our community weather these challenges, we have created a Guide to Day-to-Day Living Under Covid-19. This guide highlights available resources you can take advantage of to stay mentally and physically healthy, connect with and support other UT employees through programs like the Victims Advocate Network and the Staff Emergency Fund, and work on your own professional development and personal growth.

During these trying times, it is important that you continue to take care of yourself and help support others through practicing work-life balance and self-care. By taking care of your essential needs and those of your family, you will be better positioned to sustain your own critical work on behalf of the university. Many thanks to those of you who are maintaining critical services like public safety, utilities, IT Support, research facilities, the cleaning of buildings and grounds, and essential support to students. Additionally, thank you to the employees who continue to work remotely for staying home to keep our colleagues on campus safe and healthy. Your service to the university makes UT Austin a better place to work, learn, and live.
