The COVID-19 Guide for FAS Staff was updated in summer 2021 and re-launched on Aug. 19, 2021, in an email to FAS employees from Senior Vice President Darrell Bazzell. The Guide includes important requirements and guidance for driving university vehicles and for carpooling to and from work sites.

Not all of the winged creatures flying around campus are birds and butterflies. Carin Peterson, senior training coordinator and outreach coordinator for Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), says there are bats on campus and a large bat population in Austin as a whole. Fall and spring are when bats are most on the move and likely to be seen by the community.
